The Norwegian Automobile Federation (NAF) compared cars that participated in the large NAF and 'Motor' electric car test. The calculation was based on the purchase price of the car and the declared WLTP range. The organization points out that since the beginning of 2020, the average range has increased by about 200 km.

NAF points out that over six years, batteries have become larger. The number of available models has also increased. In 2020, electric cars in Norway were exempt from VAT and purchase fees. Despite later tax changes, the price per kilometer of range has dropped.
In the 2026 ranking, behind the Toyota C-HR+ was the Dongfeng VIGO. This model has a declared range of 340 km and costs 259,900 NOK. The price per kilometer is 764 NOK. The next places are occupied by the BYD Atto EVO, Mazda 6e, and Kia EV4.
The summer edition of El Prix kicks off in the first week of June. NAF describes it as the world's largest test of electric car range and charging. On Wednesday, June 3, 24 cars will hit the road. The next day, charging will be tested.
