Paradise Lost is a British band formed in 1988, so nearly 1 year before me.

Stephen Edmonson (Bass Guitar)
Jeff Singer (Drums)

They released 4 Demo Discs between 1988 and 1990, before releasing their First ever Album "Lost Paradise".
In 1991 they released "Gothic" which contains the Title Song "Gothic" , the first ever Go†hic Metal Song !
It's supposed that the Go†hic Movement is inspired by the Go†hic Metal, itself inspired by that song.
In 1995, after "Draconian times", they radically changed their music style, thing which is still not forgiven by their first fans...However, that ban dis for a lot of people, the band which gave to the Go†hic people it's name...
