Poland–Norway flights: what changes in winter 2026/2027? List of connections

Wizz Air will maintain winter connections from Szczecin to Bergen and Oslo, while LOT will launch flights from Warsaw to Tromsø. At the same time, the Polish carrier is withdrawing from two Norwegian routes from Gdańsk. For passengers, this means changes in the choice of airlines, but also the need to check winter breaks on some other routes. Information current as of 17 September 2026. The overview covers regular non-stop connections listed in current and announced schedules. Not all of them are available throughout the winter.

The Szczecin–Bergen connection will not end with the summer season. The official schedule of Goleniów Airport provides for Wizz Air services on Mondays and Fridays also during winter, from 26 October 2026 to 27 March 2027. The Szczecin–Oslo-Gardermoen route also remains in the winter schedule. Here, however, the frequency will decrease: instead of three flights a week in the summer schedule, there will be two — on Mondays and Fridays. The Wednesday flight will therefore disappear. This concerns Oslo’s main airport, Oslo-Gardermoen, marked with the code OSL, rather than Sandefjord-Torp.

LOT services on the Gdańsk–Oslo route ended on 4 September 2026. According to information based on the booking system, the Polish carrier’s last flight between Gdańsk and Bergen is scheduled for 11 October 2026. Both connections were launched at the end of April and had previously been announced as year-round. Oslo therefore remained in the offer for just over four months, while Bergen is set to disappear after less than half a year. This does not mean the discontinuation of direct flights from Gdańsk to these cities. Other carriers remain on both routes. LOT is withdrawing, not the entire connection. Nor does this mean that LOT is leaving the Norwegian market. The airline still offers direct flights from Warsaw to Oslo and Stavanger. The Warsaw–Stavanger route was launched on 24 November 2025 as a year-round service, so it is not new for the coming winter.

A new feature for winter 2026/2027 will be the direct Warsaw Chopin–Tromsø connection. LOT has announced flights from 1 December 2026 to 13 February 2027, twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This is a seasonal route. It should not be assumed that it will also be available at the end of February or in March. However, it will provide an additional way to travel to northern Norway, alongside the existing Wizz Air connection from Gdańsk to Tromsø.

The published schedule for the Wizz Air Warsaw Modlin–Bergen service shows an increase in frequency. From 25 October to 9 December, four flights per week are planned: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. From 10 December 2026, the schedule shows five flights per week — Thursday will be added. This timetable is published through to 26 March 2027. The connection operates from Modlin, i.e. WMI, not Chopin Airport — WAW.

Gdańsk–Trondheim: break except for the holiday period. A break is planned for most of the winter on the Wizz Air Gdańsk–Trondheim route. After the October services end, the published timetable shows flights from 20 December 2026 to 10 January 2027, on Wednesdays and Sundays. This means that the presence of flights for the holidays does not confirm that the connection is available in November or February. People planning work-related trips should check their outbound and return dates separately. Kraków–Stavanger: Wizz Air has a break after 8 January. According to the published timetable, Wizz Air is to operate winter flights between Kraków and Stavanger on Mondays and Fridays until 8 January 2027. The next period of flights starts on 19 March 2027. A break is visible in this carrier’s schedule between those dates. Norwegian is also listed on the route, but it should not automatically be assumed that it will provide a flight on every date without Wizz Air services. Specific dates should be checked directly with the carrier, for both directions of travel. Katowice–Oslo: winter continuation requires confirmation. In the official Katowice Airport list, the Ryanair connection to Oslo-Gardermoen is described as available until 24 October 2026. This notice does not confirm winter continuation. However, it is not sufficient grounds to announce the route’s permanent discontinuation. Before planning travel in December, January or February, it is necessary to check whether the service is available for sale on the specific date.

The current and announced network includes 23 airport pairs, linking eight Polish airports with eight Norwegian airports. This includes the new Warsaw–Tromsø connection as well as seasonal routes and routes whose winter continuation requires verification. This does not mean that all 23 connections operate without interruption throughout the winter. The list shows regular connections present in the network, not seat availability or flights on a specific day. For seasonal routes and during the holiday period, check the calendar for the selected date. It does not include charter flights or journeys with connections.

Wizz Air’s winter schedules still show the Gdańsk–Ålesund, Gdańsk–Haugesund and Gdańsk–Tromsø connections. The withdrawal of LOT’s two routes therefore does not mean that only Oslo and Bergen remain from Gdańsk. For travellers from Poznań and Wrocław, meanwhile, one of the basic direct connections with Norway remains Ryanair’s service to Sandefjord-Torp. The same carrier connects Torp with Gdańsk and Kraków. Archived route maps should not be used without checking them either. The current overview contains no regular direct routes from Poland to Bodø, Evenes or Kristiansand. An offer found under the name of these cities may include a connection.

Oslo-Gardermoen (OSL) and Sandefjord-Torp (TRF) are different airports. A ticket described as a flight to Oslo is not enough to determine where it lands. When comparing offers, consider not only the ticket price but also the cost and time of onward travel. The same applies to Warsaw. Bergen with Wizz Air means Modlin (WMI), while LOT connections to Oslo, Stavanger and, seasonally, Tromsø operate from Chopin Airport (WAW). When planning holiday travel, it is best to first check availability in both directions and only then compare the price including baggage and transport. A flight to Poland in December does not automatically mean that the same route will operate for a return in January.
