Palace reveals reason for absence: health issues
The Palace announced that the Queen canceled her official program on Monday due to a heart rhythm disorder. The information was provided by Simen Løvberg Sund, communications advisor at the Royal Palace. He emphasized that, for now, this only concerns the May 18 program.
Queen Sonja had a similar issue in January 2025, which occurred during a skiing trip. She was hospitalized at that time. According to reports, the incident was not serious.
