We Do Festival 2025: “Turning Point”
The seventh edition is kairos – a moment of intense presence and transformation. The festival creates a space for breakthroughs, combining experience and fresh energy, tradition and experiment, reflection and action. Screenings of Polish documentaries foster a dialogue between heritage and modernity – stories of identity, memory, and everyday challenges intertwine with deep reflection. Concerts – including a unique ambient session – invite attentive listening, where music becomes meditation. Workshops are the most intimate part – a place for direct experience and co-creation.
"This year, we especially want to support those who have lost or are losing someone or something. The 'Workshops on Dying' (inspired by Shi no taiken ryokō) offer a safe space to talk about what truly matters. 'What Can Be Seen…' uncovers the sources of photography without a camera, while 'Diving into Consciousness' combines dance, somatic, and meditative practices. 'Turning Point' is an invitation to transformation – in art, in oneself, in the community." – announces the festival's artistic director, Żaneta Kruszelnicka.~We Do Festival

About the Festival
We Do Festival Contemporary Polish Arts & Culture returns in October with its 7th edition: five days of workshops, performances, concerts, and film screenings. One of the most vibrant Polish festivals abroad, it presents contemporary art that is bold, inclusive, and international in character. This year's theme, “Turning Point”, creates a space for change, dialogue, and transformation—where tradition meets experiment and the audience co-creates with the artists. We celebrate strength, creativity, and intercultural dialogue, showing how art builds a bridge between Polish and Norwegian culture.
We Do Festival is organized by We Do Culture with the support of Kulturdirektoratet, Oslo Kommune, Fritt Ord, Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo, PGNiG Upstream Norway, YABIMO, Polish Tourism Organisation (POT), SK Elektro AS, and Inghabberstad.
