This year's edition of Wataha Festival is a response to the voices of festival-goers. The organizers promise a lighter atmosphere and a musical journey through various styles: from Slavic folktronica, through soul, pop, stoner, and trance, to roots reggae. Attendees can look forward to concerts by artists from Poland and Norway, themed zones, food, attractions for children, and the possibility to stay overnight right next to the festival.
Artists from Poland and Norway will perform on stage:
Echo Rodu
Sprawling Wings Orchestra
Paprosound
Bong Temple
Beniamin Sobaniec
Folkdjupet
Sułtan G.U.R.
The Healing Keys
Green Wolf Music Club
But Wataha Festival is not just about concerts. This year, the organizers are preparing several zones to create a full festival experience for participants of all ages.
Chill Zone will be a place for relaxation, conversations, workshops, and meetings. Festival-goers will be able to benefit from the knowledge of speakers from England and Norway, take part in sessions, exercises, and activities for both body and mind.
Kids Zone is designed with the youngest participants in mind. The organizers announce games and activities for different age groups, so children can also actively enjoy the festival time.
Expo Zone will be located in the center of the concert area this year. It's a place for exhibitors, projects, and inspiring initiatives.
There will also be a Gastro Zone. After last year's break, Polish food is back—something that, as the organizers emphasize, participants missed. Plans include a grill with sausages, a Polish bakery, and Asian cuisine.
The organizers emphasize that Wataha Festival is a gathering of people from Poland, Norway, and other countries who want to share music, atmosphere, and festival moments together. The natural surroundings of Hove are to be an important part of the entire event, creating a unique setting for a late-summer adventure.
