The iconic Coca-Cola truck will once again light up Norwegian cities, returning to the roads just as it returns to TV screens every holiday season. Organizers have confirmed the dates and locations for this year's tour. This year, a new element has been added: support for the Red Cross's initiatives.
The shiny red vehicle has been a symbol of the upcoming holidays for decades. The commercial, which first aired in 1995, has become an inseparable part of Norway’s pre-Christmas atmosphere.

The Christmas truck visits various parts of the country, stopping in both larger cities and smaller towns. The event attracts locals who want to see the vehicle and soak up the festive spirit. Every year, many people ask the organizers if the tour will include their area.

Two-Part Route and Confirmed Dates

In 2025, the journey will be divided into two parts. The first truck will depart from Harstad on Friday, November 21, gradually heading south.

The second will start its route in Skien on November 24, then visit towns in the eastern part of the country before heading west. The company notes that interest in the event grows every year.

Support for the Red Cross During This Year's Edition

A new feature of this year's campaign is the opportunity to support the Red Cross during the truck's stops. Visitors will be able to purchase hot sausages from Leiv Vidar and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. All proceeds will go to support the organization's activities, including creating local meeting spaces.

Coca-Cola's collaboration with the Red Cross has lasted for over 20 years. Organizers emphasize that the initiative aims to encourage community building during the busy pre-Christmas period.

List of Stops for Both Trucks Across Norway

This year's tour will include dozens of locations from the north to the south of the country. The first truck will visit, among others, Harstad, Narvik, Bodø, Ålesund, Bergen, Stavanger, and Lillestrøm, finishing its journey on December 20 in Hamar. The second will start from Skien, then head to Sandefjord, Trondheim, Molde, Bergen, Stavanger, and Kristiansand, with the finale planned for December 20 in Gran.

Each stop will last several hours, usually from noon to early evening. Organizers emphasize that the route has been planned to allow as many residents as possible to see the Christmas truck in person.

The slogan for this year's campaign is "Refresh Your Christmas." The message encourages people to pause and spend time with others. At the same time, the iconic "Holidays Are Coming" commercial will return to TV and cinema screens, this time in a new version created by combining the creativity of its makers with AI technology. Alongside the truck tour, the campaign aims to create a cohesive holiday experience for audiences across the country.
