Polish Culture Festival "Let's Get to Know Each Other!" We Do Festival Team

Cinema, workshops, networking, and a GOORAL concert – all in the heart of Oslo and completely free! From November 13 to 16, 2025, the Norwegian capital will become a meeting place for Poles from all over the country. The "Let's Get to Know Each Other!" festival is four days of collaboration, storytelling, and celebrating Polish culture in a creative way. All events are free, but registration is required.

4-Day Documentary Film Workshop

November 13–16 | CRUCIBLE Hub, Fredensborgveien 22G, Oslo Participants will learn the process of creating a documentary film – from idea to editing. The finale will be a screening of the completed short films on November 16 at 6:00 PM.

Nomadism Comic Workshop + Exhibition

November 13–16 | CRUCIBLE Hub, Oslo | finale: Høymagasinet Dive into the world of visual storytelling! Participants will create original comics about the experience of emigration and life in a new place. Exhibition opening: November 16, 6:00 PM, Høymagasinet.

November, 6:00 PM | "Lessons of Love" + Meeting with the Director

Kulturhuset, Youngs gate 6, Oslo The festival opens with the film "Lessons of Love" and a conversation with its co-director Katarzyna Mateja. A story about courage and freedom at any age – in Polish with English subtitles.

November 15, 5:00 PM | Polish Community Meeting and Networking

CRUCIBLE Hub, Fredensborgveien 22G, Oslo An open meeting for Poles in Oslo – a space to meet local people, initiatives, and projects. You can present yourself in a short speech or simply come and chat.

November 16, 6:00 PM | Grand Finale: GOORAL Concert and Sound Spa Album Premiere

Høymagasinet, Myntgata 7, Oslo Screening of films and comics from the workshops, followed by a GOORAL concert that combines highlander vibes with electronic music. A musical finale to four days full of energy and creativity.

About the "Let's Get to Know Each Other" Initiative

The festival in Oslo is part of a series of events in Trondheim, Bergen, and Oslo, organized by We Do Culture and the Creative Initiatives Association Kod Krowa in cooperation with Beatus Cras and Bli Med Trondheim. The project's aim is to integrate Poles in Norway, strengthen cultural ties, and promote contemporary Polish creativity. Co-financed by the Senate of the Republic of Poland as part of support for the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad (2025).
