Six years of helping and hundreds of children’s smiles. A special charity event near Stavanger on 11 October

The initiative has been organised for six years. During that time, as many as 812 children from 61 facilities across Poland have received Christmas gifts. To deliver the presents, the organisers travelled approximately 10,100 kilometres and spent nearly 239 hours on the road.

Behind these figures are, above all, individual children, their joy and the feeling that someone remembers them. The organisers have already visited every province in Poland, and after completing their first journey, they set out on another one.

The next edition of the initiative will take place on 11 October at Kvernevikhallen. The organisers are preparing an event for the whole family, featuring sport, music, dancing and activities for the youngest participants. The programme will include, among other things:

• a children’s football match – no registration or entry fee required,
• a men’s football tournament,
• competitions for women and men,
• face painting,
• a performance by Yo.yo Danseskole Rogaland,
• music and fun with DJ SAMO,
• games, additional attractions and refreshments prepared by the Polish community in Norway.

Every child will also receive a sweet treat sponsored by the event’s partners. The organisers also announce the presence of special guests, whose names remain a surprise for now.

Everyone is welcome to take part – children, families, friends and the entire local community. It is an opportunity to have fun together, connect and support an initiative that will help more children receive Christmas presents.
