SAS Link strike. Possible disruption when transferring in Copenhagen
From Wednesday, 28 October, some SAS Link cabin crew members have been on strike. The carrier expects limited disruptions, but travellers going from Norway to Poland via Copenhagen should check the status of both legs of their journey.

The protest involves 24 employees based in Oslo and Bergen, who are members of Fellesforbundet. The dispute concerns, among other things, the share of fixed salary in total pay and guarantees of free weekends. SAS Link operates short-haul and regional services within the SAS Group.
For passengers flying to Poland, a possible consequence is missing a connection: a delay or cancellation of a flight from Norway may make it impossible to catch the next plane, even if it departs on schedule. However, the route name alone does not determine whether a flight will be affected. What matters is which company and crew operate it. According to information from travel agency Berg-Hansen, Scandinavian Airlines and SAS Connect flights are expected to operate normally.
SAS recommends checking updates in its app or on its website. It also says it will contact passengers directly if their flights are affected by the strike.
Do not cancel your booking yourself solely because of concerns about the strike, reminds the Norwegian Consumer Council, Forbrukerrådet. If the carrier cancels a flight, the passenger may choose to be rerouted at the earliest possible opportunity or at a later date, or receive a refund. Depending on the circumstances, compensation may also be due.
