The search is ongoing for 25-year-old Hubert Dyrda, a Polish man who went missing in Drammen. He was last seen in the early hours of 18 October 2026 in the Strømsø district, near Tollbugata and Rydningsgangen. His loved ones have had no contact with him since then. According to information published by DRM24 on 23 October, police have received few leads so far, are collecting CCTV footage and continuing to question witnesses.

After searching the area on land, officers expanded their efforts to the water. As reported by Razem Norge, citing Drammens Tidende, the water search began on 21 October. However, this does not confirm that the man was involved in an accident. Investigators are considering various scenarios. According to a police description quoted by DRM24, Hubert is approximately 180 cm tall, has blond hair and an average build. Before his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt and grey trousers.
Police stress that there are currently no indications that a crime has been committed. Officers are asking anyone who may have seen Hubert since 4:00 a.m. on 18 October to come forward with information. They also appeal to owners of cameras in the Tollbugata and Rydningsgangen area to check their recordings.
