Essentially AS (www.essentially.no) is Norway’s first company producing and selling fresh, cold pressed vegetable juice. Now in its fourth year and delivering nationwide the company is taking further steps to grow and expand. As part of this expansion Essentially is looking for a full time Production Manager to be part of an exciting small but growing company.
The right candidate will be responsible to coordinate production and raw materials, meet production schedules, inventory control and follow safety guidelines. In addition, the right candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with others in the company to develop, change and implement new procedures in production as the company grows and expands.
Major Responsibilities:
▪Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule
▪Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
▪Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
▪Working out the human and material resources needed;
▪Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;
▪Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
▪Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
▪Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes;
▪Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
▪Working closely with others to implement the company's policies and goals;
▪Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
▪Supervising and motivating the essentially production team;
▪Reviewing worker performance;
▪Identifying training needs.
▪Weekly communication with Essentially’s team in Oslo
Language Requirements:
Polish and a good command of English, and preferably some understanding of Norwegian but not essential.
